Time is not optimally displayed when system sends in quiz attempt

If a student doesn't submits an attempt in a quiz that is set to automatically send in attempts, the actual time when the system sends in the attempt is shown, not the time when the quiz / attempt closed.
To the users this is confusing. It would be better to use the time when the attempt closed for answering more questions, if the student did not submit himself.
