Auto Update Frequency MOODLE 3.9

Today I upgraded a non-prod site with 1 course (scorm) from version 3.6.6 to 3.9. The activity contains the link to the scorm saved on the file system and the auto update frequency is set to "Every day". So after a first look everything looks like on the 3.6.6 but after clicking the "save" button I got the message "Please add a valid zip file". 

I tried to remove/renter the link but this didn't solve the issue. Apparently the only way to make it working is:

1. Delete the link
2. Upload the real scorm
3. Save
4. Delete the real scorm
5. Link it again on the file system
6. save

Do you have any advice?
