The single "no group" icon does not have an alternative text description, it has one in 1.6.2.
When Admin clicks onthe no group icon, it disappears and nothing replaces it. In 1.6.2, I discovered it can be replaced by a group icon.
I don't get why the "no group" icon appears (as one example of many) on the Resource label in demo.moodle but not on on any of the individual resources. As I understand it, groups only works on activities. A topic and its label doe not qualify as an activity. The "no group" icon should be only used as a toggle to those things which can be toggled, otherwise it confuses bald headed people.
Background, I downloaded features demo, installed it on a clean install of 1.7 Beta - today 8 hours old on my localhost. I assigned some students to the features course along with a teacher. Added a couple of groups. Went to course settings and turned off Force and made groups visible. I am definately a Confuzzeled user who is trying to learn about groups and started with 1.7 dev and had to backtrack to 1.6.2 localhost to understand what Groups could look like and then fast forward to updating my 1.7 from dev to beta.
I was looking at MoodleDocs and wondered which activities did NOT support groups and which DID support groups. I thought the features demo would quickly answer that question.
Hope this helps speed 1.7 along.
