Unable to change user role in a new course

      1. Login as admin
      2. Create a new course
      3. Create a group in the course
      4. Create a new user
      5. Navigate to course participants
      6. Press Enrol users
      7. Enrol new user as a student
      8. In the Roles column press the pen icon
      9. Select Teacher role and save
      10. Confirm additional role is added
      11. In the Groups column press the pen icon
      12. Select course group and save
      13. Confirm group assignment is added

    Description

      Steps to replicate:

      1. Create a course with "Save and display" which will lead you to the course Participants page.
      2. Enrol a student using Enrol users modal.
      3. Try to change user role by clicking on "Student" link of the enrolled user row:

       

      It just takes you back to the top of the page.

      Once the page is refreshed, the link works as expected:
