      Description

There are a huge number of language strings that use this place holder for various different emails and the like. We are updating these plain text string to look better, thus using HTML, but in the construction and testing of them, it shows that the `{$a->firstname}` has an opening, doesn't give what you expect (i.e. the user's first name). Instead, the user receives an email with a greeting to their full name. This is true of the default plain text string as well.
