- Navigate to your profile page
- Go to Edit Profile page
- Press add button in the file manger of new picture field
- Select Upload a file
- Press "Choose file"
- Choose a non-image file from your computer.
- Click Upload this file.
- Verify that you will see an error: [filetype] cannot be accepted
- Press add button in the file manger of new picture field
- Select Upload a file
- Press "Choose file"
- Choose an image file from your computer.
- Select Upload a file
- Verify that you will see a progress bar like below
- Verify that the image will be uploaded without any errors.
- Verify that you can set the new avatar.

Problem:
For the file picker, you browse and then select the file to upload, rather than dragging and dropping them into the upload area.
As can be seen in the screenshot, you instead get a 'spinning wheel' with no indication of progress. If you are uploading a large file, this is a problem.
A simple solution:
There is no issue with the 'spinning wheel' while the system is checking the filesize etc., but once the file begins to upload, there should be some progress indicator, ideally the same sort of interface for Drag & Drop (progress bar) and/or a percentage.
