Notification of submissions are not sent for anonymous feedback

Create a course Enrol a student and a teacher Add a feedback activity Add some questions - for example Short text answer In the activity settings set 'Enable notification of submissions' to 'Yes' under 'Question and submission settings' Set 'Record user names' as 'Anonymous' Give other necessary details for creation of feedback activity. As a teacher go to Preferences user dropdown (top right corner) Go to Notification preferences Set 'Feedback notifications' to On for Web Login as a student Complete feedback activity Load any Moodle page Ensure student don't receive webnotification (top right bell icon) Login as a teacher Ensure you get webnotification Ensure student name is not displayed in the notification
