    Description

Some teachers would like to use assignments with submission type "Online text" and feedback type "Annotate PDF". However, this doesn't work when students have to submit text that contains lots of MathJax formulas.

Moodle can use unoconv to generate the PDF from HTML. But it doesn't render MathJax. That's because it uses Open-/LibreOffice which can't run JavaScript. Tools like chromehtml2pdf do work. So this part could be implemented through a new file converter plugin.

Then there's the other problem of onlinetext submissions:

... when being converted to a file.
