By enrolling someone into a course manually, there are three options to choose from for the enrolment start:

      • Course start
      • Today
      • Now

Then after the user has been enrolled, the enrolment can be edited, and any date/time can be selected with a day/Month/year/hour/minute selector.

Wen I remember corretly the possibility to edit the enrolment was added later, so it was not originally there, but now it seems to be illogical that if someone needs to be enrolled with an exact start time, first one of the three options has to be choosen and then the enrolment needs to be edited to select the desired date and time.

      To test:

      • Go to course administration/Users/enrolled users
      • Click on enrol users
      • Click on enrolment options
      • Select a starting date or leave it on default
      • Click on finish enrolling users
      • Click on the cogwheel at the enrolled user
      • edit the start date
