Incorrect error message on course custom field 'text' page

      1. Log into a site as 'Admin'.
      2. Visit 'Dashboard' > 'Site administration' > 'Courses' > 'Course custom fields'
      3. Add a new category.
      4. Add a new 'Short text' field.
      5. Enter in 'Name' and 'Shortname'.
      6. In the link field enter asd/$$.
      7. Check you get an error about invalid syntax.
