When hovering over the drop down menu on the home page while using the boost theme preset "plain.scss", the text when hovering is almost transparent and hard to read. (See attached screen shot 'Boost menu drop down plain') This does not occur when using the "default.scss" theme preset (see attached screenshot 'Boost menu drop down default').

      Steps to replicate:

      1. Log into demo site <https://sandbox.moodledemo.net/> with admin account,
      2. Note the text in the menu drop down in upper right is visible (see attached image 'Boost menu drop down default'),
      3. Navigate to the Boost theme and change the theme preset from "default.scss" to "plain.scss"
      4. Go back to the "home" page <https://sandbox.moodledemo.net/>,
      5. Note the text in the menu drop down is now nearly transparent and hard to see (see attached image 'Boost menu drop down plain').

Expected: Even with no styling in Boost, this drop down menu displays the text clearly

Actual: The text is not displayed clearly when using the plain.scss Boost theme preset
