There appears to be a limitation to drag-and-drop functionality in Moodle. While drag-and-dropping files from a folder to a course works fine, drag-and-dropping files (such as images) from folders that exist on peripherals (such as a connected mobile phone) does not.

As a result, users trying to upload images from a phone to a Moodle course need to drag the images from the phone to their desktop, then from the desktop to the course. It would be ideal if they could accomplish phone-to-course image uploads in one action.
