Rename "Miscellaneous" category to "Category 1"

      Scenario 1: New installation

      1. Install a new Moodle site with the patch.
      2. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      3. Check the default category has been created with the "Category 1" name.
      4. Edit the category.
      5. Check the HTML editor is displayed.

      Scenario 2: Upgrade with an empty category description

      The following steps should be run on a Moodle site without the patch. For instance, you can run "git checkout 0d0e66d37c6271657d76f948db9eeb10c139e7ae".

      1. Install a new Moodle site without the patch.
      2. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      3. Check the default category has the "Miscellaneous" name.
      4. Edit the category.
      5. Check the Moodle format text field is displayed (the HTML editor shouldn't be displayed).
      6. Cancel.
      7. Apply the patch and run the upgrade process.
      8. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      9. Check the default category has the "Miscellaneous" name.
      10. Edit the category.
      11. Check the HTML editor is displayed.

       

      Scenario 3: Upgrade with a category description

      The following steps should be run on a Moodle site without the patch. For instance, you can run "git checkout 0d0e66d37c6271657d76f948db9eeb10c139e7ae".

      1. Install a new Moodle site without the patch.
      2. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      3. Check the default category has the "Miscellaneous" name.
      4. Edit the category.
      5. Check the Moodle format text field is displayed (the HTML editor shouldn't be displayed).
      6. Add some text, with break lines and Save changes.
      7. Apply the patch and run the upgrade process.
      8. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      9. Check the default category has the "Miscellaneous" name.
      10. Edit the category.
      11. Check the HTML editor is displayed.
      12. Check the break-lines are displayed properly.

       

      Scenario 4: Upgrade with a different description format

      The following steps should be run on a Moodle site without the patch. For instance, you can run "git checkout 0d0e66d37c6271657d76f948db9eeb10c139e7ae".

      1. Install a new Moodle site without the patch.
      2. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      3. Check the default category has the "Miscellaneous" name.
      4. Edit the category.
      5. Check the Moodle format text field is displayed (the HTML editor shouldn't be displayed).
      6. Select "Plain text format" in the list below the Description text box.
      7. Save changes.
      8. Apply the patch and run the upgrade process.
      9. Go to "Site administration > Courses > Manage courses and categories".
      10. Check the default category has the "Miscellaneous" name.
      11. Edit the category.
      12. Check the HTML editor is NOT displayed.
