Overview

Currently teachers cannot view available rubrics or edit new ones unless they are inside an Assignment configuration dialogue. This makes the rubrics rather inaccessible and clunky, in my view.

Furthermore, the current listing of rubrics is impractical if there are more than just a handful, since the whole of each rubric is shown in the list. Wouldn't it be better to have a collapsed list of rubrics by name, which could be clicked on to consult details? And it would be nice to allow rubrics to be tagged, in order to allow searching.

• As a teacher, I should be able to manage rubrics without entering a specific assignment activity dialogue.

This is an old issue on the Moodle Tracker (https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-34499). 

Is it really untouched since it was first proposed some nine years ago? I have restated this old tracker item here as an MUA project proposal in the july-December 2021 project cycle.
