Remove the next and previous activity links from all activity modules in Boost

      1. Login as Admin
      2. Create 2 courses
        • course1 (using default configuration)
        • course2
          • In 'Course format' set Format => 'Single activity format' and Type of activity => 'Forum'
      3. Create several activities in course1.
      4. Enrol same teacher and student in both courses.

      Using boost theme

      Test 1

      1. Login as teacher
      2. Go to course1.
      3. Go to one of the activities in the course.
        1. confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are NOT displayed at the bottom of the activity page
      4. Go to course2
        1. confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are NOT displayed at the bottom of the activity page
      5. Login as student and repeat the steps 2-4

      Test 2

      • Login as teacher
      • Go to course1.
      • Edit the course settings
        • In 'Course format' set Format => 'Single activity format' and Type of activity => 'Forum'
        • Save changes
      • Go back to course1 homepage.
        1. confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are displayed at the bottom of the activity page
        2. confirm that you can navigate to the activities using the activity navigation.
        3. confirm that the links to the activities, except the link to the defined single (forum) activity, are labelled as hidden
      • Login as student
      • Go to course1
        • confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are NOT displayed at the bottom of the activity page

      Test 3

      1. Login as admin
      2. Go to Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules > File
      3. Select 'In frame' in 'Available display options' and save changes
      4. Go to course1 and create file resource
        1. Add a name for the file resource
        2. Upload an image
        3. In the Appearance section, for 'Display' select 'In frame'
        4. Save and display
      5. confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are displayed in the header section of the activity page

      Repeat Test 3 with a URL resource (enable "In frame" display option first for URL activity in site admin)

      Using classic theme

      1. Login as teacher
      2. Go to the course1.
      3. Go to one of the activities in the course.
        1. confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are displayed at the bottom of the activity page
      4. Go to course2
        • confirm that activity navigation links (links to the previous or next activity) are NOT displayed at the bottom of the activity page
      5. Login as student and repeat the steps 2-4

      With the introduction of the course index, that will be the primary means for navigating around the course.
      If possible, make this change only for boost and not classic.
