Item analysis: symbols '<' and '>' misparsed in TEX formulae

    Description

      If a TEX formula is used in answers and this formula contains symbols '>' (more) or '<' (less), than in Item analysis view it is misparsed. Please refer to the attached screenshot - in the upper part a question preview is shown (all ok here) and the lower part contains Results -> Item analysis view - formulae are broken.
      examples: $$\rho_1 < \rho_2$$, $$\rho_1 > \rho_2$$
