      Description

If students upload an image file to their assignment, which exceeds 2:3 ratio or Letter print, the annotator view will fit the width and crop the height to match 2:3, essentially losing anything out of range.

File size only impacts load time and does not cause any cropping issues if the dimensions are correct.

Student files may still be downloaded and viewed normally, though annotations cannot be made for any part of the image that has been cropped out.

There is an old thread discussing the issue related to this, but we hadn't found any specific tracker to accompany it.

It would be good to have something that restricts, or detects and warns students about this limitation.
