With the current paypal enrolment mechanism, if a course gets to its 'end of life' and is replaced by a newer version - it would be logical to prevent any new users from purchasing the old course. However in turning off the paypal enrolment mechanism, you suspend any existing users on that course who may still be working on the course and need to finish it.
Is it therefore possible to improve the paypal enrolment mechanism, so there is an extra setting available, which allows a teacher to 'prevent future enrolments' - which would stop future enrolments, but doesn't suspend any existing users who have enrolled via that mechanism.
This issue is causing me a huge headache, and I am sure will be problematic for others as well in the future.
