      See original issue, which describes intention: MDL-68633

      Somewhere along the line (presumably in MDL-70197 and/or MDL-71915) the functionality for confirmation of changing forum subscription mode was removed

      The following hack allows existing Behat tests to continue working, but testing functionality that doesn't exist in normal UI: https://github.com/moodle/moodle/blob/0e188470b1cf177126b426fddf7a2798e0a0a8b2/mod/forum/view.php#L110-L113

      That Behat-specific change came in MDL-70197, apparently intended to be removed in MDL-71915, but never was
