Pre-requisities Have an account on http://gravatar.com/ linked to your e-mail address, with an image Test Log in as admin Create a new with the same e-mail address as your Gravatar account Create another user, manually uploading a user picture for them Create a course Enrol both test accounts as students Confirm on participants page: Admin user has no avatar image (only icon with their initial letters) First account has no avatar image (only icon with their initial letters) Second account has uploaded user picture Navigate to Users > Permissions > User policies Tick Enable Gravatar Set Gravatar default image URL to "identicon" Save changes Navigate back to course participants page Confirm on participants page: Admin user has generated Gravatar pattern as user avatar First account the Gravatar image linked to your e-mail address Second account has uploaded user picture
