To test this effectively, you need a course with more than 100 questions in the question bank.
One way to get that is to download AP Multiple Choice Questions 1994-2007 in MOODLE GIFT Format (6).txt
and import it into the question bank. (It is GIFT format).- Go to the question bank.
- Select Top category, and turn on 'Also show questions from subcategories'
- Verify that the screen shows 100 questions, with a paging bar.
- Click 'Show all NNN' near the bottom of the page.
- Verify that all questions are shown, with no paging bar.

Since forever, the question bank has defaulted to showing 20 questions on a page, with an option to switch to 'show all questions' (which is acutally limited to 1000 for performance reasons).
In discussions relating to other question changes for 4.0, we realised that for Modern browsers and servers, it would be fine to change these sizes to 100 and 4000, and that would be much better for users.
Since this is a simple change, we should try to get this into 4.0.
