Setup You'll need to run a scheduled task on the UI interface, to do that: Enable tool_task | enablerunnow setting. Set pathtophp setting to the location of your php binary (usually /usr/bin/php) Create new course "Course 1" with a teacher and student enrolled. Testing scenario: Check format Completion date Login as Teacher Go to "Course 1" and "Turn editing mode on" Press "Add an activity or resource" Choice Page Create a Page "Page 1" Navigate to 'Edit setting' of Page 1 Set "Completion tracking" is "Show activity as complete when conditions are met" Checked "Require view" Press "Save and return to course" Add the "Course completion status" block Navigate to "Course completion" Checked "Page 1" Press "Save changes" Logout Login as Student Go to "Course 1" View page "Page 1" Logout as Student and login as admin Navigate to "Site administration > Sever > Tasks > Scheduled tasks" Run the scheduled task "core\task\completion_regular_task" Wait to the scheduled task run complete Logout as admin and login as Student Go to "Course 1" Press "More detail" in "Course completion status" block Check "Completion date" column with format "16 Mar 2022, 04:12" (Shows the time it was completed)
