Improve viewing feedback in forum grading

I'm hoping the following changes can be made to moodle, both of which involve the use of moodle marking rubrics for discussion forums:
 
1. It's possible to add comments to the text boxes in a marking rubric, and to expand the size of the text box when doing so, but when students (or anyone for that matter) try to read the comments the text box remains 1 line high, which makes it very difficult to read. It would be helpful if students could also increase the size of the text box when reading comments. 
 
2. When making changes to a marking rubric there's no warning that you haven't saved these changes if you forget to do so, and it would be great to have this rectified.
