Replace '<' and '>' in Jumpto menu with labels such as 'previous section' and 'next section' or similar.

      Description

      "jump to' menu: replace '<' and '>' with labels such as 'previous section' and 'next section' or similar."

      I don't think we should do this for all people however as these buttons would be huge in some languages ... we probably need a user profile setting like "I am using a screen reader" for optional changes like this.

          I consider this fixed in MDL-6360 for Moodle 1.7 - see comment "...lib/weblib.php (functions navmenu..." – there is hidden text "previous/next activity" which is mirrored in the button's title.

          (I'm looking at a fix for bugs MDL-7122 / MDL-6685, which follow from MDL-6360.)

          There is an accesshide element " Previous activity" in the <button> element, isn't that enough?
