Unfortunately I am unable to test it because Nuance does not offer any trial or evaluation versions

assigning to Nick - is there any way to get it for testing?

Hi, apologies for my lack of input into these issues, but I thought that by 'watching' the meta-bug I was also watching the sub-bugs, but I now find I have to set it to watch bug individually!
Anyway...there must be something on the Chat window that prevents Dragon from seeing the field as a 'normal' text entry field. I'm afriad I don't know enough about the technicalities of Dragon or Moodle to know what this might be. Is there anything beyond straight HTML on this window (javascript perhaps?)? If so, if there is a way of switching the additional stuff off I am happy to test with Dragon again.

(There is a real problem for you with testing in that Dragon is really expensive and takes time to train, so I guess you need to rely on me to test things for you...)

Yes, I'd be happy to test it - please can you give me a url where I can find an example to test? (Sorry if there is an obvious place I should look for this - I'm not familiar with Moodle developement areas.)
