BBB Activity Session Scheduling should prevent admins from accessing sessions outside of scheduled times

      1. Create a course and enrol a student
      2. Create three Big Blue Button activities in the course and set session times:
        • Open and close dates in the past
        • Open and close dates in the present (i.e. current date is between the open and close dates)
        • Open and close dates in the future

      Logged in as a teacher

      1. Check that session times are displayed correctly
      2. Ensure session can only be joined if current date is between open and close.

      Login as a student

      1. Check that session times are displayed correctly
      2. Ensure session can only be joined if current date is between open and close.

      In v2.4 the session can not be accessed outside of a given start and end time by any user, including Admin. In 4.0 an admin user is still able to access the session even when students can't (Join session link is visible).

       

      We have seen complains from moderators might assume scheduling does not work because they can still join the session.
      So we would tend to think that the best would be to match 2.4 behaviour for now, and in the future this functionality needs to be reviewed for how we want it to change the way it works.
