Make sure you have multiple users on your site

Go to Site administration > Reports > Custom reports

Create a report from datasource "Users" with default configuration

Make sure that users are sorted alphabetically and if you expand "Sorting" on the right the "Fullname" is checked

Create reports from "Cohorts", "Badges" and "Courses" datasources

Make sure in each of them there is default sorting
