Prerequisite Created two courses (course1 and course2) In course1 set the course image to an image file Testing Login as admin Go to Site admin > Appearance > Courses Add non image file extension in "Course image file extensions", eg pdf then save changes Go to a course2 > settings then remove any files in "Course image" Add a pdf file with a really long name in "Course image" then save Go to home page Verify that the width of Course1 's thumbnail image is the same as Course2 's truncated filename. Verify that Course2 's filename is truncated and ended with three dots Hover the filename ended with three dots Verify that the full name is displayed
