Copying a course fails with the cron error "Adhoc task failed: core\task\asynchronous_copy_task,Error reading from database" only when it contains IMS or SCORM activities. This failed on a new install of Moodle 4.1 with no additional plugins and I think it may be related to the use of MS SQL Server (2019), because it does work on Moodle's basic demo site. For the SCORM package I used their 400 KB basic runtime demo, so it should not be an issue of resources. Copying a course without either of these activities does work.
