With the Hierarchy short-term solution we found out the need of improving the 'Text and media' activities (formerly called Labels). At the moment, content creators users use these activities to create and simulate course structure and organization, but there are some flaws in this activities functionality that difficult the navigation within a course mostly from the course index. 

Text and media activities don't currently appear in the course index for students, it only appears there for content creators when 'Edit mode' is enabled and users adds any text to the 'Text' box in the activity settings.

As content creators usually use these activities to simulate course subsections, they want them to be navegable from the course index, so students can have a better sense of the course structure and move through subsections using the course index. 

As part of the short-terms solution we're proposing for the Course Hierarchy project, we need to better understand the underlying needs of 'Text and media' activities as well as the pain points and constraints of them, in order to be able to improve them in the best possible way to fit the user needs.
