New setting for the "Services and support" URL

      1. Log in as admin
      2. Go to 'Site administration > Server > Support contact'
      3. Confirm there is a new setting:
        • param name: servicespage,
        • param text: "Link to 'Services and support'"
        • param help: "Users will be sent to this URL when clicking on 'Services and support'. If the field is left blank the user will be redirect to the 'Find your Moodle partner' official page."
      4. Fill in the 'servicespage' parameter with 'https://example.com' and press 'Save changes'.
      5. Open the footer pop-up ('?' icon) and click on 'Services and support' link.
      6. Confirm you go to 'https://example.com' URL and it has been opened in a new browser tab/window.
      7. Clear 'servicespage' parameter content (the URL) and press 'Save changes' again.
      8. Open the footer pop-up ('?' icon) and click on 'Services and support' link again.
      9. Confirm that now url redirects you to 'https://moodle.com/solutions/certified-service-providers/' url (or any url you go if you follow 'https://moodle.com/help/?utm_source=CTA-banner&utm_medium=platform&utm_campaign=name~Moodle4+cat~lms+mp~no') and it has been opened in a new browser tab/window.

    Description

      The footer displays two links to the "Services and support" (currently it leads to https://moodle.com/solutions/certified-service-providers/) and "Contact site support".

      "Services and support" is hardcoded and can't be configured, which is problematic especially for Moodle Partners since it actually leads to the link to "Find a Moodle Partner".

      This ticket is to add a new setting to configure this URL in "Server / Support Contact" (/admin/settings.php?section=supportcontact)

      Our suggestion:

      • Change the string of the "Support page" setting to "Link to 'Contact site support'" and a change the help text (see below)
      • Add a new setting for the 'Services and support' link (see below)
