You can either filter courses through the dropdown (e.g. In progress, Future, ...) or through the search field but not both. This is confusing for users especially in the following scenario:

1. You select something (e.g. In progress) from the dropdown.
2. Then you enter a search term.
3. The dropdown now still shows the option you selected earlier, even though it's no longer used as a filter. Only the search term is used as a filter now.
