In Moodle 4.2 (QA site, tested on 2023-03-26) there are issues with Assignment feedback comments not being saved as/where they should.

The Tiny editor (the default set for the Terry Teacher account), saves the first feedback comment OK, but that comment is then also needlessly copied into the feedback comment for the next attempt if the next attempt has been opened (e.g. manually).

Also, later updates of the feedback comments appear not to get saved at all, and/or possibly (some of them ? ) go into the (possible / hypothetical ?) feedback (to be) used with the next n+1 attempt (and miraculously re-appear once the teacher adds another attempt.)

By comparison, Atto seems to work predictably as before - whether I add (and update) feedback comments for the current attempt, or whether I update the feedback comment accompanying some earlier attempt/s.

Apparently, the Tiny editor does something wrong when handling comments of multiple attempts; possibly also its auto-save feature does not work ideally in this respect?
