Create a course

Create an activity in this course

As admin go to /admin/settings.php?section=coursedeletionsettings and enable asynchronous deletion

Go to course/management.php

Delete the course

Verify that the course now has the prefix "To be deleted ... " and that there are no more action symbols.

Verify that the course search results list displays 5. accordingly.

Run cron

The course should now be deleted

The course deletion can take a long time if the recycle bin is used at the same time because of the course backup.

Especially with large instances, this can lead to problems such as timeouts or disproportionately long waiting times.

A possible way to reduce timeouts or long waiting times would be to delete the course asynchronously.
