      Note

      • This test needs to be performed with all branches (39, 311, 400 and 401).
      • You might want to switch you PHP version to 7.4 for the stable 39 when creating a new instance

      Testing stable branches (39, 311, 400 & 401).

      1. Install a MOODLE_XXX_STABLE site.
      2. Go to Admin -> Server -> Environment.
      3. Verify that there aren't errors related to Assignment 2.2 is in use.
      4. Add a new record to mdl_assignment table by running the following SQL: 

        INSERT INTO mdl_assignment (name, intro) VALUES ('Assignment 2.2', 'Assignment 2.2 intro');

      5. Apply the patch
      6. In the "Moodle version" drop down, select "Moodle 4.2 and upwards".
      7. Verify that you see an error of Assignment 2.2 is in use
      8. If there are other versions in the "Moodle version" drop down... verify that only "4.2 and upwards" shows the error.
      9. Repeat all the steps above for the other branches.

      We need to make sure that Admin/environment.xml must be 100% the same so we will need to backport the new environment check from MDL-72350

      1. We have added a new environmental check as part of this issue (check_mod_assignment).
      2. Environmental checks MUST be backported to all supported branches (normal and security).
      3. Only that way somebody using Moodle 4.0.x (for example) will be able to look in advance if their site is going to have any problem.
