The changes have fixed the back up issue on our failing courses.

As its difficult to create such a huge course and test and also since the changes are about adding some more progress tracking to the slower steps, making sure that no regressions are caused due to these changes should be a good enough test.

This can be tested by running a full CI run.

Sometimes back up is failing for some of our huge courses. Adding some progress tracking in the backup code similar to what was done in ~~MDL-77467~~
