The easiest way to test this is with a new site install, where the site has not been registered Log into the newly installed site as an admin Access the Administration menu, this should trigger the site registration screen to be displayed. (if it doesn't navigate to: Site Administration > general > registration Expand the "More information" section of the registration screen You should see: "Number of courses without an end date set (0)" Click "skip" at the bottom left of the form, do not register the site. Create 2 new courses: One with an end date set One without an end date set (uncheck the "enable" check box) Navigate back to the registration form: Site Administration > general > registration Expand the "More information" section of the registration screen You should see: "Number of courses without an end date set (1)"
