Click on the Link button in the TinyMCE editor toolbar.

Verify that the Test to display value is: TinyMCE.

Set the Enter a URL to: https://moodle.org/

Click the Update link.

Verify that the TinyMCE word has become a hyperlink.

Apologies if this has been reported elsewhere. I did notice it passed the QA smoke test (linked) so it is possible I'm doing something wrong here.

Steps to reproduce:

Type a sentence
Select a word and click the link icon
You'll see that the whole sentence (in fact the whole line if you have a paragraph) is linked
If you link to the whole text and add your URL, it duplicates the text.
You have to remove the rest of the line before you can make the link, which is not expected.
