In our university, we use the Database module as a student study logging database. The students enter their DB entries in Separate Groups mode. The teacher can then view the list view for each group one-by-one. In the previous versions of Moodle this worked flawlessly.

However, in the event a student/group has no entries, the Group Selector disappears and there is no way to switch to a different group. Leaving the activity and returning also has no effect because the last group selected is "remembered" by Moodle.

As this feature used to work and no longer works, I'm logging it as a bug.
