With Moodle 4, clicking Check on a quiz question sometimes takes you to the top of the page rather than to the question that was just checked.

When running a quiz in adaptive mode with multiple questions on a page, checking a question should redisplay the page with the checked question at the top of the browser window. This usually works, but not with some narrower windows - instead the browser briefly stops on the question then jumps to the top of the page.

The issue can be replicated in multiple browsers as follows:

      1. Open (attempt or preview) any quiz that uses adaptive mode and has multiple questions on a page.
      2. Navigate to a page with multiple questions.
      3. Display the quiz nav menu on the RHS if not already showing and hide the course nav menu on the left.
      4. Slowly decrease the window width by dragging the RH edge of the window to the left until the quiz nav menu automatically closes.
      5. Scroll to any question except the first in the page and click its Check button.

The page will be redisplayed with the browser at the top of the page, not on the question just checked, requiring the student to scroll back down to find the outcome.
