This collection of issues aims to improve the way LTI external tools are configured and managed by teachers in the course level.

There are two main goals:

• make it easier for teachers to create and use LTI external tools in a course.
• make it easier for teachers to manage LTI external tools in a course.

The key tasks related to the teacher persona are:

1. Improved configuration of LTI external tools in a course
   • Centralized page for adding LTI external tools in a course.
   • Improved creation form based on the chosen LTI version.
   • Enable teachers to use LTI 1.3 dynamic registration and complete manual registration without the assistance of an admin (controlled by capabilities)
2. Improved usage of LTI external tools in a course.
   • LTI tools configured in the course always appear in the Activity chooser
   • Minimal configuration when adding LTI tool as an activity/resource in a course.
3. Improved management of LTI external tools in a course.
   • Centralized and more accessible page for displaying and managing existing LTI tools in a course.
