- *BEFORE* upgrading, log in as a student
- Navigate to your Dashboard
- Upload the attached yaml files (swagger.yaml
swagger.yml) - Connect to your database and run the following query:
SELECT id, filename, mimetype FROM mdl_files WHERE filename != '.' ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT 5; - Run the upgrade
- Navigate to Site admin > Server > File types
- Verify that the yml and yaml extensions are present as "Standard" file types
- Re-run the above DB query
- Confirm that the swagger files now have a mimetype of application/yaml
- Confirm that none of the other files have been modified

When uploading a yaml file with a .yml file extension, Moodle does not accept it as a valid filetype even though the Content-Type is defined as text/plain
