The course participant report source should by default show participants (hence the name) - we can improve the default state by adding the following condition:

1. Enrolment > Status = Active

The default report created by the report will therefore show only courses and active user enrolments (instead of listing all enrolment methods present in the course, regardless of whether they have any related user enrolments)
