Submitted on behalf of Jennifer Snippen at Lane Community College:

When I grade student forum submissions (by Rating) I am given the opportunity to advance to the next student (or go backward to the previous student). This is quite efficient and allows me to quickly grade, in the order in which they submitted the assignment, and importantly to not lose track of who has been graded/not graded. However, once I submit a reply things change. For a moment, the next student is still visible and presented as an option, but then I can see Moodle cycle and the name of the next student disappears. Resulting in a need to back out to the whole list of submissions again and select that next student.

It seems this might be an easy fix. Is it possible to retain that "next student" name for efficient advancement - even if I submit a reply?

Thanks so much for your time,
