Groups are an important element in who students and teachers need to communicate effectively with in their courses. With this in mind, rooms within communication providers should be broken down by group, where a groups mode is enabled in a course.

For Matrix, which supports the concept of spaces, we will create a space for the course, and house all of the relevant group rooms within it.

      Requirements

      1. In Matrix, the rooms created for the groups, should be housed within a new space.
      2. The name/topic of the space will use the existing course-level communication settings (room name and topic). For now, we do not need to modify the strings associated with those settings, their usage will be obvious when visiting Matrix.
      3. This change will mean if a groups mode is enabled, obviously the Matrix URL in a course will not be the same for all users. We need to do some investigation on what is the best place to link to if a user is in multiple groups within the course - eg can we link to a space, or perhaps decide on the logic behind which room to link to.
      4. We need to add the users to the spaces to allow them to access the space.
      5. Add a setting in the dynamic form element to use space or not.
