In MDL-79701, a regression is addressed where the truncated course name in the upcoming events block can be read through hovering to see the title, however we can further improve this by making more of the course name visible as well, to reduce the likelihood the hover needs to be performed.

This is something that has been improved elsewhere recently (see MDL-77364 for the same improvement on the My Courses page). The approach taken on this issue should be consistent with that.
