MOODLE_401_STABLE
At a glance, this issue seems nearly the same as MDL-38485 (2.7-2.8). When adding an external feed for site-wide calendar events, Moodle is ignoring any
or
indicators within the description part of the feed and flattens the text so it all runs together.
I understand that according to iCal specs (4.8.1.5 ?) "Description" text was intended to be plain text (most modern calendar systems support some HTML using X-ALT-DESC with a FMTTYPE declaration) but one would hope that we can still honor new line /n formatting whenever
's appear.
Many modern RSS feeds incorrectly include a
or
in their output. Can we update Moodle such that it replaces any of those instances with a line-break (/n) rather than stripping them out completely?
