We have recently had an accessibility audit on our Moodle courses; the Search icon button is labelled Search forums. The review recommended adding an aria-label with an instruction such as, “Search, click to search forums.” To meet W3C criteria, Create content that can be presented in different ways, including by assistive technologies, without losing meaning.
