Custom field report columns show default values when they shouldn't

      See following screenshot:

      Category 1 contains no courses, so the Test column (representing a course custom field) isn't joined to anything - it should not display the default value of the custom field

      It should not show anything

      Found while looking at MDL-80858 - I'll set this one as a blocker, because both will touch the same code area
