When adding a new activity module the title attribute is "Editing..." instead of "Adding..."

      Test in both Classic and Boost.

      Test

      1. As admin go to Home page and switch edit on.
      2. Add a new Assignment.
      3. Confirm the title of the page is 'Adding a new Assignment | site short name".
      4. Confirm the heading of the page is 'Adding a new Assignment'.
      5. Fill the form and save.
      6. Edit created assignment.
      7. Confirm the title of the page is 'Updating: Assignment | site short name".
      8. Confirm the heading of the page is 'Updating: Assignment'.
      9. Create a new course and navigate to course page.
      10. Add a new Assignment.
      11. Confirm the title of the page is 'Adding a new Assignment | site short name".
      12. Confirm the heading of the page is 'Adding a new Assignment'.
      13. Fill the form and save.
      14. Edit created assignment.
      15. Confirm the title of the page is 'Updating: Assignment | site short name".
      16. Confirm the heading of the page is 'Updating: Assignment'.

      To reproduce:

      • Go to a course, select editing mode
      • Add a new activity module (page)
      • Note that whilst the heading in the main section reads "Adding a new Page", the title in the browser tab reads "Editing Page [...]"

      Expected behaviour

      The page title should be representative of the page and read "Adding Page [...]" when adding a page and "Editing Page [...]" when editing an exiting page.

      Screen reader users navigating the pages may find it confusing and could skip past the browser tab as it's not representative of the action they expect to be performed. Sighed users my also get confused if looking at the browser tabs to locate an open webpage.

       

      Note

      This may be considered a failure of Level A Success Criterion 2.4.2 as the page title does not correctly describe the purpose of the page.
